Chevra, this week’s parsha is אֱמֹר. Sefer Vayikra is often called the book of the Cohanim, it contains a lot of rules surrounding korbanot and the death of Aharon’s sons. This week we learn about specific Kohen laws and laws about the Kohen Gadol plus what belmishes disqualify sacrifices from the altar. Finally, we have a listing of the korbanot for all the holidays mentioned in the Torah. As we gear up for re:Inforce and start selling tickets to re:Invent, it’s as if the Torah would list all the major activities that would happen at these events plus The Summits. These holidays are what keep the Jewish people going throughout the year, just as these “festivals” keep the AWS world moving too. Shabbat Shalom.
