Chevra, this week’s parsha is וַיִּגַשׁ (Vayigash). In this week’s parsha, Yaacov and all his descendents leave the famine in Caanan and go to Egypt. So they back up a snowmobile, pile in all their data. They have an S3 inventory which we see as a list of who is going to Egypt. They take all their flocks and use DMS to transfer it into the cloud. And they move to Egypt where Yosef, the right hand of Paro, gives them the choicest land. So they are in the latest AZs of the newest region with the latest instance types. Of course, they prefer serverless so they don’t have to worry about scalability which we know they will, teaser for a few weeks from now. The parsha ends with migration complete and all the data and services have been migrated from Caanan to Egypt. More next week. Shabbat Shalom.
