Parshat Pinchas - 2026

Chevre, this week’s parsha is Pinchas (פנחס). And the Jewish world is now on the same page regarding parshiot. Pinchas, last week, took matters into his own hands and slayed a Jewish Prince and his Midianite lover in the Mishkan (they were having relations in the Mishkan). Pinchas, had not been made a Kohen yet. Only Aaron and his 4 sons were made Kohanim (Priests), but Pinchas was not. Pinchas was the grandson of Aaron (son of Elazar).
