Miketz - Chanukah - 2025

Chevre, this week’s parsha is Miketz (מקץ) and it’s Shabbat Chanukah AND it’s Rosh Chodesh Tevet. Our family usually goes Shabbat Chanukah to cousins that live on a Moshav outside of Teveria. Every year we talk about that IF Shabbat Chanukah is Rosh Chodesh then it’ll be the longest benching (Birkat Hamazon, not HaAmazon) possible. And this year we have it. We remember that Yosef is in jail and the cup bearer and baker of Paro received their redemtion and punishment.
