Ki Tetze - 2026

Chevre, this week’s parsha is Ki Tetze (כי תצא). This week’s parsha is chock full of mitzvot. One thing that stood out to me this week is the idea that if a person is condemned to hang, they should not remain overnight on the gallows. There is a speed and a push within Judaism to burial the dead speedily. This can get delayed for legal reasons or for a police investigation, but in general, there is a speed to which folks are buried.
