Chevre, this week’s parsha is Pekudei (פקודי). We finish the book of Shemot (Exodus) and we have the final touches of the creation of the vestments for the Cohanim (Priests). Followed by the actual construction by Moshe of the Mishkan. To me this is like adding the final details into a cloudformation template, the last connections between all the pieces and then running the cloudformation to build the solution so it can operate.

The whole next book of Vayirka will be around the rules of operating the Mishkan. But that’s more for next week.

This is also Shabbat Mivrachim, we bless the new month this shabbat, and the new month starts on Sunday. That means we are 2 weeks away from Pesach. I can already feel the stress of cleaning and holiday preparations are in full swing in my subconcious.
