Noach - 2023

Chevre, this week’s parsha is Noach (נֹחַ). וַתִּשָּׁחֵ֥ת הָאָ֖רֶץ לִפְנֵ֣י הָֽאֱלֹקים וַתִּמָּלֵ֥א הָאָ֖רֶץ חָמָֽס (Genesis/Beresheit 6:11) The earth became corrupt before God; the land was filled with violence. Unfortunately, the land (Eretz Yisrael) is again filled with Hamas/Violence. The solution in Noach’s time was to have a flood and destroy the land, but then HaShem promised not to do that again. So now that job falls to the IDF. My family and I are physically safe in our area, but emotionally it is difficult to live in Israel and be emotionally whole.
