Shabbat Sukkot - 2022

Chevre, this Shabbat we take a break from reading the Parsha and we read about Sukkot. We also read Kohelet (Ecclesiastes) (we read a different Megilla for each of the 3 festival holidays, Pesach, Shavuot and Sukkot). What is interesting here is that Sukkot is Zman Simchateynu or our Joyous time and Kohelet seems the least joyous Megilla. It’s attributed to Shlomo HaMelech (King Solomon) and he uses the word Hevel consistently.
