Pinchas - 2020

Chevre, this week’s Parsha is פִּינְחָס (Pinchas). There is a small piece of this week’s parsha where Moshe goes up to the top of Mount Abarim and sees The Land of Israel. I like to think about this like when you are flying to Israel and finally see the coast line and you enter into the Israel airspace. No matter how many trips and how long I’ve lived here, this always brings me such joy. Moshe was not allowed to enter the land, but he was allowed to see it. Actually, I heard a Dvar Torah recently that the 2.5 tribes that stayed on the Jordan side did that so that the place that Moshe was buried would be in Eretz Yisrael. They were able to extend the land. In our world, this is like showing customers through demos, workshops or re:Invent presentations/videos what their world could really look like. What is the ideal, utopian situation. We put a light on these ideas and help our customers get to that place, or as close to it as possible. Hopefully, we have a 2.5 tribes that extend the border of utopia to where we are able to get our customers to. Shabbat Shalom.
