Chevre, this week’s parsha is וַיֵּצֵּא (Vayetze). In addition to the deceit by Lavan to Yaakov in the marriage of Leah and Rachel, Lavan also changes the work contract for the herd that Yaakov is tending to after the marriage work was complete. Lavan changes the rules many times and Yaakov is able to adapt and consistently come out ahead. Finally, Yaakov has completed all his contractual obligations and flees from Lavan to avoid further treachery. While exiting an on-prem data center may be challenging, we won’t let our customers go it alone. We assist them so they don’t have to slip out in the  middle of the night and once they are on AWS, we don’t change their contracts. Not only that, we push to reduce costs and cost optimize for the benefit of our customers. May we always strive to do the right thing both with our families and in our work lives. Shabbat Shalom.
