Yitro - 2025

Chevre, this week’s parsha is Yitro (יִתְר֨וֹ). The most important section of this week’s parsha is the giving of the Torah, represented by the 10 Commandments. I am the cloud that created the concept, you shall have no other but me You shall not try to copy the first cloud, you won’t be able to do it You shall not use more than 1 cloud per workload You shall keep your feedback positive and constructive You shall automate your workloads including scaling (both up and down) and backups so you can keep operating and keep it holy Honor your SA and your TAM Thou shalt kill your cloud resources when you are done with them, preferably with automation Thou shalt utilize multiple accounts to reduce blast radius Thou shalt learn from your neighbor’s mistakes and victories Thou shalt open support cases with all needed information, logs, explanations and ensure contact information is correct and monitored for responses Thou shalt not go around your Account Team Shabbat Shalom
