Yom Kippur - 2023

Chevre, tonight and tomorrow is יוֹם†הַכִפֻּרִים (Yom Kippur). This morning, I was listening to Rav Sacks talking about the fascinating history of Kol Nidre. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9WHsgs_YBWE One thing he said is that while Kol Nidre has historically been very emotional with the music we put to it, the words themselves is like a business contract. It’s like if we took the AWS EULA (End User License Agreement) and put it to happy or somber music.
