Metzora - 2022

Chevre, this week’s parsha is מְצֹרָע (Metzora) and שבת הגדול (Shabbat HaGadol). This week we continue learning about Tzarat and we learn that it can “infect” clothing, objects and buildings. We learn there are purification processes for people and buildings. I think of Tzarat like tags applied to AWS resources. If we look for them, we can see them, but they don’t necessarily affect the functioning of the resource itself. If we (or the Cohen) do not look for them, then they have no impact.
