Chevre, this week’s parsha is לֶךְ לְךָ (Lech Lecha). At the end of last week, we had the Tower of Bavel. So it seems that the world started with 1 language. As we know today, the world has many languages (I’ll throw a few in here: Ada, Bash, C (and all it’s derivatives), Java, Perl, Python, SQL, Typescript and many many many more). What strikes me intresting this week’s parsha is that Avraham wouldn’t take honors or rewards for the battle of the 5 kings, but he did take presents from Egypt.
