Vayelech - 2019

Chevra, this week’s parsha is וַיֵּלֶךְ. This parsha is extremely short and is normally connected with last week’s parsha. At the end of every 7 Shemita years (every 50 years) on Sukkot there is a special event called Hakhel. This is when major sections of the Torah are read out loud publicly. The Torah is not given to the elite or the special, it is for everyone. The AWS Cloud is also not given to the large and special companies.  Anyone can open an account and use what they want, even staying in or near the free tier of most services. So just as the Torah is open to everyone, also AWS is open for usage to everyone. I bless you all, and please bless me back, for a meaningful fast on Yom Kippur this week. Shabbat Shalom and Gemar Chatima Tovah (more on this on Tuesday ;-) )
