Chevre, this week’s parsha is כִּי תָבוֹא (Ki Tavo). This week we have the declaration that is said when bring the first fruits (Bikurim) and has also made it’s way into the Passover Hagadah. “An Aramean tried to destroy my forefather. He descended to Egypt and sojourned there, few in number, and there he became a nation - great, strong, and numerous. The Egyptians mistreated us and afflicted us, and placed hard work upon us. <snip>“ Then we cried out to Hashem and he took us out. Remember that Egypt in Hebrew is מִצְרַיִם which means narrow. So we went down to the narrow data center, we had to do hard work racking, stacking and updating the bios. Don’t forget setting up the network, crimping cables, and the fearsome rack-nuts! Then we cried out to Hashem from the depths (my data centers were always in the basement) and he saved us and brought us to the promised land (the cloud) after wandering in the desert (migration). Shabbat Shalom
