Chevre, this week’s parsha is נֹ חַ (Noach). This week we learn about the flood. So Noach gets the final warning and then the DDOS flood happens. Noach has his workload on AWS with protective services like CloudFront and ELB. Given that Noach was expecting trouble, he was warned, he had also signed up for Shield Advanced. So he also had WAF enabled and was able to immediately get help with blocking the “bad” traffic while his site stayed up. The DDOS was modified multiple times and persisted for 40 days and 40 nights. In the end, the DDOS attacks subsided, Noach had a party, drank a little too much and passed out. And the business stayed up. Shabbat Shalom
