Chevre, this week’s parsha is פְּקוּדֵי (Pekudei). This week’s parsha is the last in the Book of Shemot (Exodus). We have the reiteration of a bunch of things we’ve seen over the past few weeks, the building of the Mishkan (Tabernacle) and finally the cloud covers the Tent of Meeting and God’s temporary place on Earth is “activated”. This second half of the Shemot seems to me like we get the architectural plans, this is what it should look like. But anyone that has ever done some house renovation or building knows that what is planned and what happens are never the same. We found that we have walls that lean. So after we have the architectural plan, we then are building the vessels, the Cohen clothing, and the Mishkan. In this case, everything worked according to plan and the Mishkan was built. The CI/CD pipeline was built so well that Moshe was able to mash the button and do it all himself. The original Superman. And once the Mishkan was built, we know that it was accepted because The Cloud of Glory covered the Mishkan. I kinda wonder when the AWS Region in Israel comes online if there will be a cloud of glory over the sites? Does AWS have an agreement with The Holy One, Blessed be He, not to do this because then it’ll alert everyone as to where the data centers are? I guess we’‘ll find out. Stay Tuned. Shabbat Shalom.
