Simchat Torah / Shemini Atzeret

Chevre, this Shabbat is שְׁמִינִי עֲצֶרֶת שמחת תורה (Simchat Torah and Shemini Atzeret). So this Shabbat is actually 2 holidays combined together. Outside of Israel, these are celebrated one day after the next. Shemini Atzeret is a holiday all to itself. After starting the teshuva process back at the beginning of Elul, through Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur and now after having lived in the Sukkah (I’ve been connected to the cloud underneth the cloud of honor, aka the Sukkah) this is an extra holiday. As if the holidays are over, but we need 1 last taste of a holiday. As if we have recieved the Spot notification that our instance is going away and we have our last chance to upload our status to S3. The other part of this day is Simchat Torah. We finish reading the Torah and immediately start again. So when our spot instance gets recalled, spot fleet replaces it right away and we continue on our way. Shabbat Shalom and Chag Sameach.
