Chevre, tonight and tomorrow is Shevi’i Shel Pesach (שביעי של פסח). On this day, The Jewish People experienced the splitting of the Red Sea. You may have noted that throughout the week, we only said a full Hallel on the first day of Pesach. The rest of the days we say, what is called, half Hallel. This is because of the toll the exiting of Egypt took on the Egyptians. While HaShem saved the Jewish People, we recognize that it caused the death of many Egyptians.
