VaEtchanan - 2023

Chevre, this week’s parsha is וָאֶתְחַנַן (VaEtchanan). We are continuing the final speach from Moshe. This week we have the reiteration of the 10 commandments and part of the Shema prayer that Jews say twice daily (at least). We are past Tisha B’Av, which was yesterday. This day marks the destruction of The Temple in Jerusalem on the same Hebrew Date by both the Babylonians and the Romans marking the 2 exiles by these empires.
