20 Sep 2021
Chevre, tonight starts סֻּכוֹת (Sukkot). There are so many things that we could talk about regarding this holiday. We leave our houses and sit in temporary dwellings, like a container that leaves a data center, EC2, ECS, EKS, etc etc to temporarily be run as a Lambda. We are confident in our teshuva from Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur that G-d will protect us in the elements. This is the only holiday of the 3 major festivals (Pesach, Shavuot, and Sukkot) that does not specifically commemorate an event.
