Shoftim - 2021

Chevre, this week’s parsha is שֹׁפְטִים (Shoftim). There is an interesting section in this week’s parsha around prophecy. First we are told (again) to not use magic or worship idols, but when we come into the land, some of us will have prophecy. This is almost like a 6th sense or the ability to see visions or dreams that will eventually come true. In Amazon we talk about being able to see around corners, but in our case this comes from experience and not necessarily from prophecy.
