Ki Tisa - 2021

Chevre, this week’s parsha is כִּי תִּשָּׂא (Ki Tisa) and Parshat Parah. In this week’s parsha we learn about The Golden Calf AND it’s Parshat Parah. Now the Red Heffer is often considered a tikkun or fix for the sin of The Golden Calf. Because we sinned with The Golden Calf, we became impure and have to go through a process to purify ourselves. We learn about it now so that we will have time to purify before bringing our sacrifices on Pesach (Passover).
