Yitro - 2021

Chevre, this week’s parsha is יִתְרוֹ (Yitro). There are a few interesting things in the parsha this week. The most poignant is that Yitro comes to Moshe and explains to him that he can’t do everything, he has to delegate. He had been sitting from morning to night doing everything himself. So Moshe took 70 elders who can be the judges of the smaller cases and only refer to Moshe, with his direct connection to HaShem for the difficult cases.
