Vayeshev - 2021

Chevre, this week’s parsha is וַיֵּשֶׁב (Vayeshev). In this week’s parsha we start to focus on the next generation. Like upgrading from c5 instances to c6i or c6g types. Yaakov has a favorite son (pets not herds), Yoseph, who is a dreamer and doesn’t understand when to keep his dreams to himself. This causes friction between the brothers. Yaakov sends Yoseph to check on his brothers. They throw him in a pit and sell him into slavery to be brought to Mitzrayim.
