Simchat Torah / Shemini Atzeret
Chevre, this Shabbat is שְׁמִינִי עֲצֶרֶת שמחת תורה (Simchat Torah and Shemini Atzeret). So this Shabbat is actually 2 holidays combined together. Outside of Israel, these are celebrated one day after the next. Shemini Atzeret is a holiday all to itself. After starting the teshuva process back at the beginning of Elul, through Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur and now after having lived in the Sukkah (I’ve been connected to the cloud underneth the cloud of honor, aka the Sukkah) this is an extra holiday.
