Reeh - 2020

Chevre, this week’s parsha is רְאֵה (Re’eh). The parsha this week continues Moshe’s farewell speech. One section talks about private altars and how offerings will be brought to the place “the please G-d chooses to rest His Name”. We understand this to be Jerusalem. In the AWS world, we understand this to be “friends don’t let friends build data centers”. In another section, we learn not to copy the customs of the locals.
