Shlach - 2020

Chevre, this week’s parsha is שְׁלַח לְׁךָ (Shlach - Lecha). This week we have a clear example of how not to do “Have Backbone, Disagree and Commit”. First Moshe sends the scouts, 1 from each tribe, promenent men. Yehoshua, later, sends only 2 scouts in a military type operation. When they come back, they do not report back to him, but he puts them on a pedestal and has them tell the whole nation what they saw, without having vetted what they were going to say first.
